I'm Sangeeta Rai from Kailashahar, Tripura. I'm here to share my experience with RCET

I studied at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, the top engineering college of Kanyakumari district 2021. I chose this course because that is what my rank allowed. Mechanical engineering is a relatively lightweight course as compared to others, and this provides ample time for other activities. Classrooms are well equipped, with most of them having large blackboards and projectors. The campus is mostly lush green, and there are many opportunities for sports like tennis, volleyball etc.

Politics was not permitted within the college, whereas all kind of cultural activities were promoted. Intercollegiate cultural fest was usually conducted in every year. SPECTRA is the technical fest, aims at bridging the gap between universities and industries that aid the student participants to exhibit their neoteric ideas and also allow them to demonstrate their renovated concepts in this modernised world. These are completely run and managed by students. Placements are excellent in RCET, the top engineering college of Kanyakumari district 2021. Many top companies come here to recruit right on Day 1 of placements. Final year students are eligible to sit for placements. Some companies include INFOSYS, hp, just dial, TVs and many more. Around 70-80% of students get placed.
